Interior and Exterior Wall Signs
Wall signs can be made to most shapes and sizes but are nearly always made from the same materials. The following wall signs can be fitted both internally and externally.
Acrylic Panel / Plaque
Acrylic signs are a very popular way of giving a sign a more elegant look and feel. They are more commonly used within internal reception areas to welcome visitors and staff but can also be used externally by the side of an entrance.
The graphic detail on an acrylic panel can be applied in a number of ways which will be determined by the design and the wall it is being mounted to. Using a bushed stainless steel back panel behind the acrylic can turn this popular wayfinding sign into a stylish plaque.
Wall panel.
A flat wall panel is generally made from an aluminium composite material but can be made from many different materials. The panels can be routed to any shape using a CNC machine and come in various different colours.
These panels are generally screwed through the face for a flat fixing but can also be stood proud of the wall on hidden or decorative fixings. Ideal for fixing to curved walls.
Wall tray.
A wall tray is a great way to give a sign a little depth. As with the flat panels the majority of wall trays we sell are made from an aluminium composite but can also be made from a full aluminium for a cleaner finish and if powder coating is required.
Generally these are made with a 50mm deep return and are fixed to the wall with aluminium angle which is hidden behind the tray. The main advantage of a tray over the above flat panel is that the fixing screws are located in the top and bottom folds so there are no ugly screw fixings in the face of the sign.
