The Signage Solution.

Morson approached us following their impressive office refurb. Their working office was now a modern, inviting workspace but due to the building layout it still felt like the rooms were very much a separated from one another.

They invited us to come up with a design solution using our signage techniques and products which would make the individual offices and training rooms feel connected and to have a flow.

They also wanted to ensure that the signage emphasised the company's core values.

During an initial Teams call with Group Training Director, Matthew Leavis and Business Manager Andrew Robinson we discussed Morson's signage requirements, their company history and values and their own ideas of how signage could help their office space.

The next step would be to arrange a site survey to get a better understanding of Morson's office space and to take photos and measurements which would allow us to put together a set of scaled mock-ups.

Once our design team had brought all of this together we then presented the designs along with a set or pricing options. Both Matthew and Andrew instantly loved the designs presented and with a few tweeks we had agreed on the final signage.

Referring to Morson’s brand guidelines we designed a set of mock-ups which were based around the use of two lines 'tracks' which use their main brand colours.

It was these 'tracks' that link the separate spaces together. A simple solution which not only met the brief but also linked to Morson's rail training.

Around these tracks we added the companies core values and logo types, using different materials to compliment each office area.

Over a few days and working around a planned schedule our fitting team installed the signage using our design mock-ups as reference.

We had early starts and late finishes to ensure that any drilling and noise coincided when there were breaks in Morson's training sessions so not to cause any disruption.

The work was completed on time and ahead of Morson's deadline.
